Well I didn’t want to pull my fuel tank to fix the leak until I found new seats. The old stock seats were soo cracked and didn’t want to spend $1800 to upholster them. F.U.C.K the USA ANYWAYS! Sorry spectre off-road. Hahaha!

So I found some good candidates out of an 2000 ish pathfinder. They fit super nice. Just added some 1”x1”x .125 rails to adapt them to the slave hunter. Quick and dirty and I just welded them in.

The leak was just a poorly plugged return line bung on the tank. Easy fix but now I’m wondering where the return line on the engine goes???

I believe the 3b return just goes back into the primer pump inlet. Hard to see, it becomes a hard line that goes behind the IP.

Maybe the original went back to the tank...Merc diesels weren't they?

That’s what I thought, it’s been so long since I e been behind there. Maybe the inlet to the tank was for the Om Mercedes setup?

Out with the old

Built a bike rack out of my metal scraps with my daughter. For any cruiser or yota with a tire carrier.

I can make my pistons look like that. ;)
You have… :grinpimp:

Over the years I’ve tried many different types of paint on my exhaust manifolds… nothing lasts… for much the same reason,

Not 100% happy with this manifold so far but I’m still gonna send it.

Gonna have to dremel out some holes. Getting bendy with the heat. Might as well get the engine surface machined too.

Just gotta drop the oil pan to weld an oil return bung tomorrow and do some intake plumbing. Will have to rearrange the air box too. Old exhaust has to be cut out but I decided to go with the dirty fender dump with my 2.5” exhaust until I get annoyed with it.

Well the fender dump exhaust is loud. Gonna install a full exhaust soon. But super fun to drive.
