What a difference some larger tires and 2" lift make!

I have a fully functioning master cylinder assembly from an 04-05 LX that my brother gave me as one of his customers replaced his as preventative maintenance. I’m keeping it just in case but let me know if you ever need one.

OK, is it just me or does the Gold package actually look good on left?
Not for long - The front left fender is almost out. I just need to find some time later tonight!

I had a secret plan to find a used brake/booster assembly and throw in a cheap battery and surprise her with a working truck. But the underside is an abomination so perhaps not!

Thats salvageable. Just crusty and brown looking but it looks to be mostly surface. The third row wheel arch damage is fixable, maybe that can be your welding experiment as its not critical and you probably will never have anyone as 3rd row passenger

You are mixing the two trucks up. The crusty underside is the parts truck, it also needs a brake booster.
The interior pics are of my current truck with good frame and some body damage and of course the whole in the rear wheel well. I showed my truck to a local old-timer body shop and have asked him to put together an estimate for cutting out the rear quarter panels from the parts truck and welding them on mine. If the estimate is anywhere reasonable, it will seal the fate of the parts truck as a parts rig otherwise it might be saved and made whole again.

Interesting. My 2001 LX does not have this sound insulation on rear wheel arches.

Surprising!
I was inspired by your stripping of the interior. I am planning to add more noise insulation and seal up every hole I can find.

So my 100 has new paint, new suspension and mods- Once you get that interior done............. Well? It’s not like the 4.7 will give up soon! It will go the distance. You already have enough $ in it to keep going, and you should.

Gold package always looks good

Well looks like this is going to be an interesting endeavor for you @ClassyJalopy !!!
Now since you have a good parts vehicle, it is time to take a critical eye to every inch of whichever one will be the DD/main rig and start fixing/swapping as necessary. Luckily with a parts truck you can do this in a piecemeal fashion.

found two small rust holes in both front footwells. Passenger side carpet was soaked in water due to this

Ouch!! This is parts truck or your truck? Which is better?

This my truck. Haven't started stripping the parts one yet. I have asked a couple of body shops to give me a quote on rust repair

@katit any pointers on how to remove the center console?
