Those are AWESOME. I love that idea. I've been wanting something like that for a while. To store little stuff that I need a lot in.

brown slushy

I threw the charger on my tired redtop Optima and started my 40. That wasn't enough so I took it over to the neighbor's corn-stubble field and tooled around. I "fell" into a mud hole, powered out and proceeded to fall into it about 10 more times. My soft top is in the basement so the inside of my truck is about as muddy as the outside.

I still haven't swapped out my bent left front spring from my last firewood cutting outing and it rode pretty badly. There were some DEEP combine ruts...

Started with a run up to NAPA for a new fan clutch. Used the hot engine to complete a valve adjustment when I got back. Fan clutch replacement gave me an excuse to clean up and paint the fan shroud. Other than a stubborn clutch not wanting to let go the pulley, it all turned out good. It's nice to here the fan kick in and the gauge stay pegged in the bottom third.;)

Did this a couple of weeks back best mod yet its diesel fired a little over 10000 btu and very very efficient uses little battery juice and keeps the inside of my 40 nice and toasty even at 14 below and 14000 feet

Rebuilt front heater, fresh paint, cleaned heater core, and new hoses for rear heater. I also had to rebuild the rear heater core as it was leaking around the tank seams. :censor: So much for a quick, cheap project!

77mustard, that fan shroud looks great! What color did you paint it? It almost looks like it has zinc or some other coating on it.

Bought her an ARB roof top tent! I can only imagine how tall it's going to be now, with the tent on top of the rack.

60 series knuckle swap, with New studs and installing IPOR high steer kit.

I have the drivers side all but done, and then onto the passengers side.

Added a dome light, pedal pads and a new thermostat

Went to NAPA and purchased a generic dome light. Fabbed a mount and installed it on existing bolts on the drivers side of my hard top. (Wiring for the stock light has been there along with the on/of switch by the glove box.) Sure is nice to be able to turn it on and be able to see when its dark.

Also installed a new thermostat with the correct gaskets and top "O" ring that had never been there. Might finally get some heat ? Also installed some new clutch and brake pedal pads for the worn originals. Now if I can get the rear heater motor to work with the dash switch I will be warming up.

Started taking apart my 76 FJ 40

Removed the drivers side seat, radio, and started removing some of the switches, removed the dash pad, lots of rusty bolts. Long way to go.
