Repaired a fresh air pull cable with an xacto knife, WD40, and a bench vise. We'll see how well it hold up, but is actuating nicely on the bench top.

added a few small bits

changed out my mirror heads with 5" round grote ss types. Also put on the JCW tow hook and roll bar dome light.

What are the details on the green lights? Pretty cool.

It's finally not raining here so I figured I'd drive my cruiser for my DD for the weekend. House sitting for my parents and won't be driving too much anyway, but I thought it would be nice to get out and stretch her legs a little.

Started it and was letting it warm up. Came back inside to get the dog's bed and some other stuff together and went back out to find I had locked the keys in it... with it running. Hum. No spare of course. None of my other land cruiser's are old enough to have the weird one sided key. Got the door off after a few minutes although I dented it a little which kinda sucks.

Then took the long way to my parents house and enjoyed the drive through the country in my cruiser. Something about driving Elsie makes me want to always take the longest slowest way to get where I'm heading.

Fixed my mis-fire issue on my SBC 350.
Replaced the:

Plugs
Plug wires
MSD Cap and Rotor

Removed and cleaned the MSD Pro Billet distributor
Did a complete valve adjustment
Reset the timing.

Now it runs perfectly.....Finally
