Sweet. Nice touch.

I went to my Electrician, and he's 90% done, and decides to take a vacation for another week...

The last 3 weeks has given me an opportunity to post this week. Sand blasted, sanded, wet sanded and yes this week we painted her and are putting her back together. Feel free to read my build thread.

What kind of mirrors are those on your rig?

Put in a new Saginaw power steering gear box, which falls into that "you don't know what you got 'til it's gone" category. It's nice to have a tight box again (careful now)! Also added a spreader bar to the front shackles and installed new poly bushings and then went to the tire store and had the toe-in checked/set. The problem? It drives so nice now my wife is driving it daily.

Thanks! As far as the mirrors, I haven't got a clue, they were on the rig when I bought it. Some sort of aftermarket I suspect, though I have seen photos of other 40's sporting them. If they weren't so stable they'd be gone. They swivel back but are very stiff, I suspect they'd do some damage to my doors if I met up with a tree.

FWIW, there is a powdercoated pair for sale in the classifieds thread

Re-wired my marker lights and license plate following a sill replacement and repainted of the rear end. Going to enjoy her for a few weeks before moving forward with the paint project to the rest of the truck.
