Decided that I couldn't live with Jeep tail lights on my cruiser anymore so I ordered some oem tail lights and a backup light. Had to get out the jigsaw to make them fit. Way better!

more pics coming when I'm done...

Finally painted my '63 :D

'56 Corvette Red, doesn't picture well but it's a super bright red.

Oh and for the sharp eyed, the tailgate does indeed have the stamping from a steel F valve cover welded in.

Doing a frame off so... took the transmission out. the rear went up on jacks as the wheels, rear axle, springs all came off, only the front axle and steering components to go!

I sprayed PB Blaster on everything on the underside. And what ever need it under the hood. Next comes the wire wheel, and rattle can.

installed my new alternator. My truck actually runs better and the belt never sequels like it used to. My old alternator had bad brushes.

Found out that compression is down, 400, 300, 340, 360

High leakage past the rings....

Started looking for a 13bt

everything

Mounted new shocks and steering stablizer. Put doors back together to include the regulators. New window felt. drilled a hole in the dash for the new ignition, replaced the window wing vent weatherstripping

loaded the piggie up with scrap aluminum and went to the recycle yard, then the magic beer store.:D

thats cool...

any pics of it closer? is the tire going to block it?

I attached a close up, I shaved off the spare tire carrier when I replaced the rear sill. I figured since I only have the grill emblem and apron emblems the rear needed something.
