Began radio/power installs this morning in anticipation of installing the Slee second battery bracket and an IBS system.

Quick tip - wrap your wire ends with Teflon plumbers tape, makes it easier to push/pull through grommets.

Added a small paracord catch-all net for stowing lightweight stuff like jackets, etc.

what is that object on the front of the grill - driver side towards the top?

Eagle eye Willy!

Actually its a little stuffed owl. He's been on three trucks now and has probably close to 120K miles on him. Here he is on my Tundra in 2013!

The afternoon I headed out for vacation (including the 2nd annual 200 series meet in Ouray) the rack, bumper and lift came in. So I ventured down to the shop to see if I should/could do the install myself. So I unboxed it, put it on top of the rack, ratchet strapped it down and headed home...

Three hours later it was done. Granted it would have been faster and way easier with a second set of hands, but it is possible to do it by yourself. Note this is the alloy rack, not the steel rack. Not sure how much heavier that one would have seemed by myself.

The next morning I loaded everyhing up (above) and headed out on two weeks of vacation with a planned 12 days on the road.

Here's a quick hack to keep a jerry can in one spot...
