Put a Tuffy Security box in the back and some lockable ammo cans.

Went riding and snapped an axle then had to go get the roll back to haul it home after sitting there all night with people trying to get me out and the winch going crap on me.

So now I have good music for my daily commute to work and I can finally shift between Hi & Lo on the transfer case.

Rebuilt the clutch master with a kit and replaced the slave with a new one. Both were from Beck Arnley and I was pleased with the quality. The kit included all e seals and a new piston. I hadn't realized how bad the hydraulic clutch has been until it was working properly again.

If your clutch is feeling mushy and variable, just bite the bullet and do it before you have to drive home without it.:D

Just redo them every 10 years and you should be fine.:D

I still don't have the pix attach thing down sorry bout that.
I then sandblansted them and had them plated.

Then I bought some various conveyor belt material

Cut it to size

Finally I glued it all togeather with some monkey grip and set them on the frame.

I was lucky mine were in decent shape and these came pretty good.

I'm still trying to get the attaching thing down --- I read FAQ and got this far but I want to learn to post a comment then a pix another comment and next pix --ect..

anyway this is one of my many resto tasks for my project.

I installed a new mechanical fuel pump in my '71. Of course, as is typical, I had to do it twice. :o Lesson learned: make sure to get ALL remnants of the former gasket off or else it WILL leak oil!
Also put in all new rubber fuel lines, two new filters, and blew out the hard lines with compressed air. Everything's flowing now!

sanding

Spent 3 hours sanding the tub of my troopy and it feels like i got NO WHERE! I kept saying to myself "if I just had a 40, I'd be closer to finished", bah. Getting a gallon of Talstrip this arvo for some chemically enhanced fun.

On another note, Herculiner is only $69 at kragen about $75 something with tax BUT there's a $20 mail in rebate! So i saved some money always good thing in this hobby.

Installed the A1-1000 Aisin winch on the BJ. Tested it on the trails on the weekend...works great. Fast and smooth.
