What have you done to your landcruiser this week - drove it to work and put fuel in it. I love going 60mph on the California freeways, blocking the slow lane for all the impatient folks seeing them rubberneck as they drive by in their EV's and just know they lust to be driving something with so much class.

Installed new Dobinsons shocks and steering damper. Have not yet taken it out for a test drive to see if there is an appreciable difference. Please let me know if anyone wants a free set of Old Man Emu shocks and damper with probably a couple thousand miles. (Just reimburse shipping cost.) Fits a 1970 40 series.

Are you using the OME leaf’s?

Installed new Dobinsons shocks and steering damper. Have not yet taken it out for a test drive to see if there is an appreciable difference.

Yes. I spoke with Cruiser Outfitters and they basically said that they have had good experience on some of their own rigs running a combination of OME leaf springs with Dobinsons shocks. We will see.

I’m using the OME leafs too. Went with the Billy 5100’s. I’m betting you’ll like the Dob upgrade over the OME shocks.
