Built my new bumper, mounted it and installed the mighty 8274. I had an old bumper with an original Warn winch plate. The bumper was busted up, but the plate was still good. I had a local shop bend up a piece of 1/4" steel for the bumper. Next up is wiring the winch.

Has anyone installed the gigglepin contactor in the engine bay? I would love to see some pictures as I am trying to find space in mine.

That turned out great. I might steal this idea.

I wish I could take credit, but that is an original Warn winch plate from an old bumper. I couldn't use the bumper it was mounted on, so I cut it off and made a new one.

The plate did have a fresh cut look to it. Still cool.

I think he's still using solenoids, but @Flatlanderfj40 moved the entire control pack into his engine bay. Pretty sweet set up. I bet he'll post some pictures if you ask nice.

Hey @Flatlanderfj40, would you mind sharing any pics of your engine bay with the solenoid/ contactor setup? Much appreciated!

Nice. Love a shorter front bumper

E-brake. Check the seal, you're probably going to see something that looks like this. Output shaft seal gone bad. Double seal kit and a little FIPG on the splines. There’s a couple different vendors who can hook you up. Several threads on the culprit and the institutional remedies.

Where did you get your double seal kit? Its on my (long) list of things to do this season

Have some good maintenance parts on the bench, full cage ready for welding this weekend, an OP front bumper to add, and a rear axle service with an ARB seal kit ready to update, if I don’t make a complete change to a 60 axle!

But till then!!!!

These are 70 series lights, I have a similar set on my 60 I got from @cruisercult and a set of factory amber fogs on my other 40!

I like the old school look on old school trucks and with low power, I can operate almost as DRL’s. I am sure people make fun of that due to the tuner crowd similarities, but I just don’t care!

I think the Baja Design LP series has a model with a low power mode for that purpose, huge fan of their products!!!
