That looks nice Matt. The green light isn’t my favorite. I prefer a warm white but to each their own!

Today I thought I’d refurbish my heater blower. I notice that the spring clamp for the blend door actuator was a little rusty. So I pried it our of the slot it’s in and began running it on a whire wheel. I had it looking pretty good but decided to give it one more pass. The clip hooked up and was flung across the garage bay. After hours of searching i have sadly given up hope of finding it.
To the group: This is a colossal long shot, but, anyone, if you’ve got a garbage heater blower housing, would you be willing to sell me that clip?
I have a work around that will be functional, but I’d really rather have the correct part. Thanks all!!!

Well, this was a fun build, but I am going to be selling. Have a new project that requires funds. I'm keeping till Cruise Moab in April, then it is gone. If you know someone wanting a super built cruiser, let me know.

If you’re going to do a custom mph highlight, I’d like one that has the 100 replaced with 88…since that’s all it takes to go back to the future!

The POS Crap Croozers master cylinder finally started failing. It was fine when stepping on the pedal with any authority but, once stopped with your foot resting on the pedal, it would slowly go to the floor and the brake warning light would come on. Notice the lack of residual valves. They don't even sell this model anymore.

I've had a new OEM master sealed in plastic for several years - like 12! (I checked the receipt) so I threw it in on Friday. I've already picked up a rebuild kit in case the rubber seals have aged and any issues come up. In lieu of any real restoration, I blasted anything I could with hillbilly chrome - i.e. - silver paint (not the prop valve - it's just dirty). I'd like to run some new lines but it's a real pain to get behind everything so...meh. I only had to kill one nasty Black Widow. It had built a nest all around the driver side caliper. Yeesh.

Funny, I've never had any trouble dealing with braking system repairs in the past but, Good Gravy, I could not get the system bled correctly by myself. No matter what I did I still had a soft pedal. I bench bled the master thoroughly. I checked the booster push rod clearance multiple times. I used my Mighty Vac and also bled the system the solo way.

Finally I had to have the :princess: come out and operate the pedal. We pushed out a tiny bubble in both the passenger rear and passenger front lines. I mean really small bubbles. But the pedal is firm and safe again. Really had me sweatin' for a bit. I'll adjust the rear drums in a day or two.

The number of stories that I've heard here, "it was in this old guys barn for the last 20 years, added some clean fuel, a battery and drove it home!" Meanwhile, my resto mod 40s been in my garage the last 4 years, carefully replacing everything and I still can't drive it...go figure.

I'm close to driving my landcruiser, just working on tuning the sniper. Learned a lot more through several hours of YouTube videos on AFR and coolant enrichment. Hopefully I can start filling in my learn table tomorrow.

Returned from Montana(trout fishing) and dove right in on the forty. Things been leaking like a son-of-a-bitch for several months. Turns out the front output shaft cove had loosened up a bit. Torqued it down and now waiting to see. Also started to dig into the timing cover gasket leak. Damn thing has been getting the best of me for a year now. Wrenching, bourbon and cigars equate to good times with my sister and brother.
