How do you like your engine hoist? I've got one just like it in red.

It works great! It is the 2 ton one and I love the variable length boom. It has worked well for the few engines I've done in customer cars.

They salted the roads here today

@cims1970fj40 - here are a few more shots from when they went in:

I went the bolt on route - drilling 24 holes in the frame was a challenge to say the least. I like that it’s “less permanent” than welding them on but welding would have been way easier.

Thanks for letting me know. They look great! I didn’t realize that you could use your stock running boards when you put them on. From the photos I’ve seen on there site they left them off so I assumed they were to high to put the stock running boards back on.
Nice looking rig as well!

You do need to remove the frame support for the running board - so the running boards don't have the big "support arm" that connects them to the body. That would conflict with the sliders. I was concerned the step would be a little flimsy just held to the body by the 6 or so bolts underneath attaching them to the fender and body, but it seems pretty sturdy. I'm solidly north of 220lbs at this point and I don't notice any flex when I step on them.

Got the beer buddy hook up today. Good place to store the small cruiser parts.

Welp. They (the internet) told me to take a little off the hoses... did It work? Have a watch as I fumble through “hose trimming”. It’s more fun than it sounds, it’s more fun to watch than do it. Anyway, if you get bored and want to watch the saga unfold, like share and sub.
