you mean "FRESH P'JLL" 🤣

Yeah, I tend to leave FRESH P'Jll open all year 'round. I guess one day I will have to repaint the lettering on that knob. Or I can just tell people that I got that knob from a Scandinavian Cruiser.

Next pics will be of paint....

I moved from Colorado to west Texas in the spring of 1981. My employer paid for the movers and they unloaded/unpacked. You should have seen their faces (local guys) when they came to the insulated coveralls, parka, and bunny boots I kept from my winter on the North Slope/Beaufort Sea. They had never seen anything like that.

Then there was that first nice day of fall, about this time of year. It was 50 degrees and sunny, and I wore a short-sleeved shirt to work. Walking in to the office a couple of blocks from the lackey parking, and everyone else was bundled up in coats, hats and gloves. They looked at me, and I looked at them like they were crazy. I don't think my blood has completely thinned here even after all these years.

My outdoors dress code is pretty simple - neither cold nor windy = short sleeve shirt - either cold or windy = long sleeve shirt - both cold and windy = jacket or coat.

Fall has finally come to north Texas; going to the gym this morning it was 40 degrees and rainy. Had to invoke WARM PULL and FAN PULL (1st click only) for the first time since last winter.

H41 + Orion T/C + 3:70 Diffs + 33's AND Front and Rear ARB's...my Cruiser wants to be like your Cruiser when it grows up.

Hey guys. I’m looking at Bed liner products to use under my tub. Raptor liner looks good but I was wondering if anyone has used Novol Cobra before?? Would be good if I could get some feedback on it.

And mine wants to have a body as nice as yours, with uncut rear quarters ...

It really is all the same stuff. Looks into Body Schultz. It’s been around forever and is the product all these companies copied.

Jump that little spade over to the positive, you'll need to hook up the negative also, jumper cables are your friend.

Just looking for a ground in my scrounge right now. Thanks sir!

Just clamp your jumper cables to some metal on that starter.

Is that a negative I see hanging down from the bottom bolt?

Should be.

I adjusted the valves on the '76 2F in my '71 FJ40, first valve adjustment I've done on this engine even though I've had it for over 21 years. But I've only put 1,465 miles on it since I bought it, and none since March 2000. It idles even smoother than when I fired it up for the first time in many years earlier this month. If the weather holds for one more day I'll check the compression and perform a leak-down test tomorrow. The top end was pretty clean, but all of the valves were loose and needed to be tightened.
