Replaced all the bearings axles and seals on my front differential and repacked with fresh grease. Happy Birfday to my new to me 82... Added new rotors, calipers and pads while I was at it. Thanks to
@cruiseroutfit for getting me everything I needed and quickly. Took about twice as long as I had planned with all the cleaning, a stripped drain bolt and brake line. Gotta love old rigs...
Ordered some new rear spring perches/plates, rear cross member, support brackets and frame channel pieces from BTB (my frame is in amazing shape up front, and a disaster along the open back channel should probably just name my rig the Mullet), bushings, body kit and new mounting bolts and nuts.
Also on the list will be new quarter panels, floor pans, rockers, sills and a lot of weatherstripping/gaskets, new hoses, fuel lines, brake lines and vacuum lines. Also picked up a needle scaler, wire wheels, and lots of Eastwood frame products. Should be a fun project.
Going to start a frame off build thread soon, which will include a lot of rust removal, body prep, and a fresh coat of Freeborn Red. Stay tuned!
