Wish I could have taken more photos to share, we had maybe 75 40's alone but as usual photos never do it justice. Pura Vida

Nice photos Bellaire! Thanks for posting, lots of eye candy at that gathering.

My wife and I went out for breakfast this morning and drove by the lake.

We met this little guy

Then came across this

All and all it was a good morning

That's no photochop. IT'S ALIVE!!!! Congrats that it's finally on the road.

Prepped for the Inaugural Cross Country FJ40 Run. New rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes, front pads and a few new hardlines. Also pulled the rear transfer case output seal/rear pinion seal to find a cobbled driveshaft and a coarse spline pinion on a 10/78 built 40  thanks PO... guess we'll see what the front has in store for me when I replace its pinion seal as well:worms:

Halfway through carb rebuild. Just got the tricky little spring out of the bottom of the accelerator pump and cleaned the crud out.

Installed new rear Bilsteins. Much better than rusted blown old ones with no bushings.

They looks solid and very close to original lights. I still keep them unplugged but they have very simple inside and don't expect any troubles.

I bought a pair about the same time... I've installed them and they look and work great... They are three wire, the subharness is two wire, so, you have to join two wires... 1/8
