My wife and I took a little trip with the 40 today to Granite Falls, WA, to see the water falls, here are a few pics of the falls:

Added all new exhaust to the headers--Thrush and 2.5 inch pipe--gained ~1/2 vac at 2900 rpm don't know about fuel economy--don't know if it's worth it to figure out--Power feels better, but I'll know more when I hook up the trailer and get the next 2 yds of dirt for the garden--sounds nice, tho'

Is that a Morris Minor in the background?

Yup. It's my wife's. A 1955 with split windscreen and 4 doors. Morris engine. Just don't ask me to looK at the electrics... again :P

Installed a Champion CC180 3 core aluminum radiator. I read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing. I had to make two small mods to make it fit. First, wobble out opening in radiator support bracket with a die grinder for drain to line up. Second, drill 3/8" hole in radiator driver side flange to have 3 bolts on each side. I will report back on cooling ability once temps climb higher in my area.

Took daBoise (Gunner went this time too!!) on another 3-day trip through the Desert National Wildlife Area... first challenge was beating this storm through an area that experiences major washouts... we got through just before it started raining, but I was more worried about water coming down the slope.

daBoise had a lot of fun... Chester is my new hood ornament... daBoise practiced their martial arts... plenty room to sleep the three of us in 44, I woke Gunner, but Chester wasn't the least disturbed... the last pic is me n daBoise, I'm on the right, Chester in the middle and Gunner on the left.

How is the best way to remove the glass?

I just took a box cutter and cut the weatherstrip on the front. I removed the lock strip on the weatherstrip first then just cut straight to the glass, removed the weather stripping and just pulled the windshield forward.
I've never done this before and it took 10 min from start to finish. A lot easier than I thought it would be.
I'll be using new OEM weather stripping when I install the new glass this weekend.

Spent the past week in Botswana. Used my uncles new cruiser to help me save this old girl, half buried in the kalahari sand. She had a few good bits left that I need on my cruiser.
