I'd consider 65 relatively low speeds, personally.

Thanks. Normally my wife asks how much time I need for a job and then starts coming out and grunting or sighing loudly when less than half of that time has passed.Big time props on getting all that done in one weekend! I've done all of that in the last 6 months but was only ever able to knock out one thing per weekend before my wife is walking out in the driveway with the baby asking how much longer it's going to be lmao.

Ironically.. I live in Texas, minutes away from I-10 with the highest speed limit in the country and drive 1200-1500hp carsYou'll get run off the road driving 65 in Texas
What rear spacers did you use?OE front coil spacers and 15mm rear coil spacers went in today.

I haven’t hit rain in mine either, but I feel like the KO3’s are tackier than the 2’s which I assume should be a benefit in the rain.Installed BFG KO3s in place of the KO2s. Size is 285/75-17. The KO2s were still at about 60-70% tread, but they start to get a little noisy and greasy. I always like to keep tires fresh to have the best performance. I sell the old ones and it helps to offset the cost.
The KO2s performed great, except for the typical KO2 balance issues. Otherwise, very happy with them.
The KO3s balanced much easier and are very quiet. I have not driven in significant rain yet. However, did spend a full day driving rocky and muddy trails. Offroad traction was great just like the KO2. No complaints there.

Dang, that sounds like a terrible place to experience this failure. It's good to hear you didn't suffer any apparent damage from the catastrophic overheat. There's a lot of discussion here about those heater Ts on the earlier 200s and the change in plastic Mr T used to remedy this:Short daytrip to the Khasm Nufayk area north of Riyadh. Started good enough with some nice scenery but at some point the LC suddenly quit without warnings or alarms. Trying to restart didn't work, seemed like the battery had died. Upon inspection under the hood it appeared a T-junction in one of the cooling hoses had snapped, dumping all coolant so quickly it never registered a temperature warning. The failure to start was due to the engine overheating so badly that it seized....
Towed the car back to the road, got a tow truck home, and ordered spare parts. Toyota doesn't supply just the T-junction, you unnecessarily have to buy the entire hose set but what else can you do. Upon further disassembly it appears the plastic of the T-piece was in very bad condition, you could simple tear it apart like wet cardboard. Just to be safe, pulled apart the return hose which was in the same sorry state. Reinstalled both new hoses a few days later, filled up the radiator and started the engine which works fine again, no obvious damage from the ordeal.
The cooling system is composed largely of high quality rubber hoses and aluminum tubes which are all in excellent condition. For the LC200 version with independent rear climate control, an extra branch in the coolant circuit is necessary for which this s*** quality plastic T-junction is used. Do yourself a favor, put some pressure on this junction and see if it breaks. Better in the driveway than out on the trail.... It is located on the right hand side of the engine just before the bulkhead.

I noted in the parts manual that the original part is discontinued, this updated part will have the better plastic I assume. Heater Hose T Upgrade for my 200
With the known Heater Hose T failures with the 100 series, I decided to upgrade my 2010 200 series Heater Hose T’s. I now have a 173k on my 200 and was concerned how long these plastic parts can hold up long term. Found an exact match by Dorman (see pic below). I used Breeze SS Constant Torque...forum.ih8mud.com
Epic fail that the pup is not in the pic. I spend a lot of time cleaning the insides of those same windows from Doberman nose prints.View attachment 3719963
Removed one of the 3rd row seats so the new pup could look out the window. Very easy mod.

You cleaned things up well after than catastrophic coolant leak. It must have been everywhere and a huge mess.I noted in the parts manual that the original part is discontinued, this updated part will have the better plastic I assume. Used new clamps on all connections.

It doesn’t look THAT shiny. Maybe polish it up a bit with Simichrome? How’s life in Santa Clara? I lived there for a short time way back in the late 70’s.Actually it was a couple weeks ago, but I installed a shiny new power steering pump. The old one kept going out on me. I think it's because there was a very high probability the power steering fluid was original on this 150k vehicle.I tried flushing with fresh fluid but that only made the pump act worse.
