Changed the oil and greased the drive shafts this morning.
Then found that the o-ring on the water inlet housing has a very minor seep after about 200 miles. I don’t think I used enough lubrication when installing and must have damaged the o-ring.
Oh well...I needed another project.

It is not unheard of for the water pump to weep while is running in. Not very common, but not unheard of.
I misread that as water pump
I hope you didn’t damaged the o-ring because when I did mine I pinched it. Second time I did it was a charm as I made sure to apply die-electric grease on the o-ring. Best of luck!Changed the oil and greased the drive shafts this morning.

I did damage it 
It was pinched and shaved parts of it off. Had several flat spots. Bush League mistake.

No worries buddy we live and we learn. Was a lesson more than a mistake. Die electric grease on the o-ring and die electric grease on the housing and you should be good.I did damage it

Side question: Does it have to be dielectric grease or can it be regular grease? I'm about to do my thermostat and it's the same set-up...little rubber ring that gets squished in between the outer housing and the water inlet housing.
Mine are coming due... how much of a pain in the ass are these to change?Replaced front sway bar links after 322k mikes. That’s winning.

I have never put any sort of lube on the thermostate gasket/seal. The thermostat housing sandwiches it inplace.
Desert does it Seat Jackers installed today. Found my legs a bit uncomfortable on my last 300 mile one way trip. Only taken it around the block since the install but seems promising.

Damaged o-ring. It’s like that about 40% the way around the outside.

It is not difficult. Just have to work each side back and forth at same time to keep lined up. But not difficult it all.

I use just a little bit of dish soap. Timmy the Toolman uses just a tad of silicon grease.

Something water based makes sense to be miscible with coolant, and if you live in a cold climate then I recommend KY Heat.
Annnnnnnd my AC has packed up. Was working fine then just stopped. I see it could be a failsafe that if the pressure drops the AC just doesn't kick in, so hopefully a regass will sort me out. Hopefully that's all it is, I cba with more expense!
I got sick of the distortion coming from my ML sub. I've replaced all door speakers a while ago with I think JBL, I honestly don't remember. But, I re built the sub and it worked well for a while. The distortion has gotten worse so I replaced it with this. It's def. more clear now but it doesn't hit heavy with bass like the pictures suggest. Probably time for an amp upgrade but I'm not going that deep into the audio. I've got other stuff to address for now.
Hey how do get to the sub? Haven’t scoped it out yet but going to give my sun some fresh foam.
You have to pull the lower rear interior quarter panel trim and the rest is obvious. It's not difficult at all.
