2000 LX. Excited to make it to 400k but you will not hear from me in a while… my commute to work is 1.7 miles.

Yea one was orange and white. Other one may have been blue. Regarding the stalling of my 80, I just had the gear box replaced. Intake tube looks fine and all vacuum hoses I saw look good and connected.

Thanks. Hey Godwin, did you see the two 60 series at that Imports dealer in Auburn?

Check for a tear in the intake tube that is allowing a vacuum leak with the steering locked in either direction.

When in gear and steering hard in either direction the engine will idle much lower or go completely dead. Does not seem to happen when in neutral. I know of the valve on the 100 series to prevent the stalling but not on the 80 series. Anyone...

I have not had a car payment since my late 20s. Everyone tried to tell me how great the write off is on buying new equipment on my business. For me to spend a dollar to get 30 cents or so back on my taxes…ummm that math doesn’t work. I’ll keep...

In my experience, creaking sound up front usually from control arm bushings (as @BullElk pointed out), but it could be your CV joint if it's been exposed and ingested dirt/sand/water. Sounds like you're already on the right path...any chance you...

Be assured, there are better options on the market and only two blocks away....maybe not from you but they are from someone. And again, IMO, unless you just have to have a LC with a lower odometer number and willing to pay retarded coinage to...

I've just initiated a change in my inventory practices that will undoubtedly lead to shorter lead times/shipping times. Since I'm still getting the hang of all this, some patience may be required (I.E. Prius wiper arm kits have been out of...

FYI....I placed an order with Patch that shipped Friday and received well packaged today, Monday.

Yea I have my own business as well. My issue is....If I were to buy a new $60k truck, look how much money must exit my bank account in order to save a small percentage, maybe 25%. Rather than buy a good used LC/LX for $10-15k. The deductible...

I say take it back yesterday. Not a chance does that sound like a good deal to me. I would put the "Only 93K miles" in the bad news list. I don't see any list of benefits due to having only 93K miles. Your lists could easily be describing a...

It really depends on your job and what you can write off. I'm an independent contractor and I bought a new Tundra in 2023. When I do my taxes the deduction I believe will be $28,900.00 plus 80% of depreciation. I can write off expenses as...

I have nothing valuble to add. Except that i am in Argentina now on some remote propertys. Hilux are the vehicle to have down here. So many nice trucks and all i do is dream about taking one home. It doesn't hurt that the US exchange rate is...

IMO, there’s no better option than the ARB Deluxe. It’s a proven classic.

These are the heater tees I sell in pairs. They measure within .5mm of OEM tees in all dimensions. Part number TY0617365-PRM from Autotecnica Occasionally after installation the hoses will leak in which case I replace the hoses and hose clamps...

Starting today, I'll be documenting all of my kits as I add them to CruiserPatch.com and as they evolve over the years. I started my business as I recognized a need for high quality customer service combined with 100 Series specific support. I...

Why wouldn't you just buy a proper OEM radiator from Toyota? That's the "premium" option in terms of reliability. Mishimoto was a big name in the import scene 15 years ago. I had one on one of my mk3s. The appeal was a *thicker* aluminum...

2000 trannys are good just like every other year of the mighty Hundy. Sure, anything can happen to any machine made by man…if you’re slitting hairs. But just exactly like anything else in life, other than Gods word, it’s all about increasing our...
