Got the light support bar put in Project 250 and spent a few minutes wrestling with a LC bumper cover and it seems like it won't fit... I was really hoping it would. I have a bunch of other stuff to spend money on other than a bumper cover lol. Hope to mess with it again soon.

When I tried to replace my brother in law’s 2002 LC bumper support with my aluminum 2005 LX bumper support, the LC fog lights hit the LX support in the wrong spot. All other bolt holes are the same, but it wouldn’t fit without trimming the bumper support. So we scrapped that idea.

Super easy to trim the bumper support with angle grinder

Topped off the tank and noticed strong gas smell when I reached home. Quick look underneath revealed the metal gas filler pipe must have developed a pin-hole!
Time to run the gas down and get replacing this pipe:

It turned out to be not as difficult a job as I expected it to be. Couple of hours of practicing contortionism and we are done!

Three years and lots of memories later, said goodbye to her with a very heavy heart.:frown:

At least it will stay in the family for now and will enjoy the temperate climate of South East.

Swapped out the steering rack bushings yesterday. 2002 lx the bushings come out in minutes. I fought the new bushings until I followed someone’s write up here and used a longer threaded bolt to pull them into place. Steering is 10 times better. Swapped out upper and lower radiator hoses and replaced the heater t’s. The hot side T crumbled on removal. Had to go fishing to get the residual plastic. 196,xxx.

Had Slee install skid plates on my 100. After checking pressures on my TYT reader, looks like I will need to crank torsion bars a little more. Luckily, put on stock TBs, as AHC originals had run out of adjustment.

Ready to get out there and put some gouges in them!
