I didn't. I kept them for a couple of years. They just took up space and collected dust. (who would want them?) So out they went. It was relief actually.
I'm thinking about removing the lights in the running boards and attaching them to the frame somehow, so I can still enjoy the lighting effect. Has anyone done this yet?
I've seen aftermarket solutions, but not reusing the existing LX lights.

Where did you sell them at? I just pulled mine off 2002 lx in good condition if my one wants them. Dark grey w/hardware.

My brother hooked up a relay to the existing connector and some off road lights under his GX.

Check out @Ramathorn15 's Owl Expedition rock light mounts. They're designed to do exactly what you're asking.

While I had the wheels off to replace my brake lines I decided to paint the wheels. I like the change to black, but I’ll see how it holds up over time!

Topped off the tank and noticed strong gas smell when I reached home. Quick look underneath revealed the metal gas filler pipe must have developed a pin-hole!
Time to run the gas down and get replacing this pipe:

Just replaced mine a few months ago PIA. Not sure if you finished the job yet, but in case you haven't here are some tips for removing and reinstalling the filler neck. Remove the lower nut and washer from the last 4 body mounts on each side and slide the filler neck over the tire in a angle. See pic. It may take a few tries but in the end it comes out easy.

I haven't even started yet! Thanks for the tip. Were there any other parts you replaced besides the metal pipe and the 2 rubber hoses?

How was the install?

Super easy, I think it took maybe 5 minutes. Just have to pull a single 10mm bolt and use a trim removal tool to pop all the fasteners loose.

Overall cost?

Part Number...............Part Name..........................................................................................................Price..................Quantity.....................Total
67862-60101..............1998-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser - Door Weather-Strip....................$60.70...............1....................................$60.70

Thanks for the pictures, they are super helpful. I am hoping to not have to drop the tank, how was the access to the rubber hose clamps on the tank side?
You shouldn't have any problems getting to them. I think from factory they install them face up before they put the gas tank up so it is easier to just cut them and install new once.
