Got my turbo upgraded, swapped old turbo for a uni-chip, hopefully I am running 10 to 20% more fuel efficient with the bigger turbine & the chip, will have to see how far i go on a full tank, and then get to a dyno to compare against the old...
had the front brake discs & brake pads replaced (was lucky as they had just hit metal to metal), got the oil level sensor replaced, (was not that funny to see the oil light come on after 2 mins of startup...) have an air/fuel leak to find and fix next, suspect a dodgy fuel filter, gotta bite the bullet and get original, used to think GUD were good, also need to sort my damper bushes as they pretty kaput after a trip to Mozambique over xmas
now I am in serious need of a good snorkel just to keep my turbo from wearing out... seen my first blade after 280k km and my second blade after 487k and I am seriously looking for suggestions, really like the look of the TJM Snorkel from Aus
