Transmission Flush
Coolant Flush
Diff drain and refill
transfer case drain and refill

and added a bike rack to my swing out. I ordered this probably 3-4 times before I finally received it, but I am pleased.

Changed my hood-struts.
Will probably lead to a lot less swearing.

Also mounted a GPS HUD-speedometer. So far so good...
It is a lot cheaper than recalibrating my speedometer when I mount 285/75R16 tires.

That sounds interesting—which unit did you get?

Please let me know your thoughts on the rack (especially the thru axle). I have a BIOR bumper and am seriously considering this add on.

Found out my ABS light was the first solenoid so have a new ABS solenoid control coming vs entire MC. All circuits test and everything is working (pump) but the solenoid is circuit is toast. Used solenoid coming for $300. Will pop that on and see how we do. Hoping to sneak it in without uninstall and bench bleed as they are all closed when off.

I have used it since last summer. It works well. Used it primarily with thru axels. Loading bikes is a little awkward, but not bad at all. Other than having a bike in the truck, it is the best way I have found to haul bikes with swing outs. I looked at everything I could find before ordering.

Installed new updated JDM wiper arm, linkage, and, grommet, and nut. Back end looks much more up-to-date now, though I'll be keeping my old arm just in case.

@ranma21 doesn't have any in stock so I ended up going to the Bay of E.

The OEM wiper arm and blade were shipped from Japan, the rest I got from one of my Toyota parts suppliers. Searching part numbers, it appears the arms are actually for the Toyota Alphard/Vellfire vans sold overseas, but they work just as well in this application.

Edit for additional part numbers everyone seems to be asking for...

Linkage (85170-60090)
Grommet (85143-60110)
Nut (90080-17210).

Installed this little USB and 12v outlet in the back. It's wired directly to the battery and fused. Can use it to charge things when the truck is switched off and can also use it to put current back into the battery via solar panel. I also can charge my trailer winch battery when needed. Put it in the jack compartment cover so that I can return the vehicle to stock very easily if wanted and no unnecessary cutting of the interior, very easy to just find another cover. Can never have too many outlets.

Ok, here it goes! Found this 1999 LX470 with 230k miles. It just got the timing belt, radiator, coolant, thermostat done plus brand new tires and brakes. I checked the car and didn't notice any issue. It's been a WA car with zero rust and runs super smooth. All the power / electrics works perfectly. Also checked the CarFax and there wasn't any accident in the history with about 27 service records. The dealer had it listed for $7400, then dropped it to $6900, but after the negotiation he agreed to drop it to $6700. So I payed $7600 out of the door (TAX, doc fees, etc).
As the air suspension still works perfectly and the tires are new (even though they are some sort of Michelin Defender and not my ideal tires), I'm not going to do any modifications until the suspension breaks!! and will keep it simple for now.
Right now looking for some floor mats, stereo, and a key fob. So please let me know if you have any recommendation.

If you have the brains to the fob then you can order a generic body online. We lost the whole key/fob and had a local locksmith replace it. Works great for about $100 vs Toyota dealer price of about $300.
I’ve got weathertech floor mats and would buy them again. Excellent product.

Went to Anza Borrego again! (My brother managed to get some time off.)

There is plenty of room for more Land Cruisers!

We did find this cutie, a Speckled Rattlesnake. Made us jump.

Finished welding my hidden winch mount last night. Getting ready to bolt in in!

Drilled side holes not pictured so this is all 100% bolt on.

Looking good. What is your plan for the control pack? Or will it just barely fit?

Cheers,
rjones

What other parts are needed besides the wiper arm and blade? You mentioned linkage and nut. Do you have part numbers? This really looks good. Thanks for sharing.
