    A Little History:

Have had my 100-Series since it was new. My father bought it from New Country Toyota in Saratoga, NY on August 10, 1998 (12 days before my 10th birthday). It was passed down to me in 2011 when I got my bachelor's degree; I had the option of getting a new car or taking the Land Cruiser... I took the Land Cruiser, and has been my daily-driver ever since! I've named her "Elsie" as a play on the initials "LC" for Land Cruiser!

Hadn't caught the mod bug until recently, and I honestly don't intend to make my truck into an overland exotic, as I love the beefed up stock-ish look for my daily driver. My dream would be to find a gently used 80 or 100 Series and kit that out with everything!

Admittedly, she is mainly a pavement queen but she does stretch her legs occasionally, especially when my father first got her. I have a small group of friends I meet with every year to do a few trail runs in the Catskills (pictures and videos can be found in my media page).

Cosmetically and mechanically I am super anal as people could probably figure out by now. All original paint except for front and rear bumpers which I had resprayed after having the rear smashed in on an off-road trip and the front someone hit it with a cart and left a nice scratch on the side... Undercarriage has been cleaned annually, repainted, and Fluid Filmed. Come to think of it, she didn't spend time on the roads in the winter for the first 13 years of her life!

    Mods Include:
    • 1.5" Lift with OME 865 springs in the rear, new Toyota shocks (initially installed OME Nitrocharger Sport shocks but couldn't stand the ride), and cranked torsion bars.
    • Modified Doug Thorley catback exhaust system (extra resonator and tailpipe extension installed to exit in the stock location)
    • Depo one-piece headlights
    • Spyder taillights
    • Kenwood DDW371 headunit
    • Running board delete with front mudflaps added
    • 2007 LX470 18" wheels with Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx LT275/70/18 tires
    • Previously had 2007 Tundra 18" wheels with Falken Wildpeak AT3W LT275/65/18 tires
    • Previously had 2007 Tundra 18" wheels with Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus P275/60/18 tires
