Installed my Slee Slider Steps. PERFECT fit, straight forward install, good hardware. I'm very impressed with the quality of this product, these guys kick butt. My wife is happy too, easier for her to get in the LC now.

Generally, I like them. They have their + and - ....

So first the positives...they are really easy to install (15 min) and the fitment is pretty good for an aftermarket product. They are really easy to adjust the level and I think I've got them at a good height, even. (Although if anyone knows the "official" height of the top line for low beams I would love to know what it is) The brights seem to have a good focused spot beam pattern, but my oem 9005 bulbs leave something to be desired.

Now the negatives....the beams have quite a few vertical light and dark lines in them on low, and the top line has a peak on each beam. The light also seems to be focused a little off center to the left and I can't figure out a way to adjust them left/right. I still have old oem bulbs in both low and high beams so I'm going to get some better bulbs and see if that helps fill in the dark lines.
I agree with most of this, but I'd like to add to it and possibly clear up a few things that may be confusing.

First, these use H7 bulbs, so I'm not quite sure why you're mentioning OEM 9005 bulbs since they're not in use with the Depo lights. I'll also say that I moved to some Sylvania bulbs and they're much better than the H7's that came from Depo (the bulbs are pre-installed).

Second, to adjust the beams left and right, there is a screw lower down that works just the same as the height adjustment. It's really hard for me to get to it on the battery side with the light installed, so you may have to pull it to get to the adjustment screws. Mine also seemed like they were pointing at traffic (to the left) but that was easily fixed.

Brain fart....on the bulb size. But yes, they need improvement. Did you feel like the Sylvania's did the trick?

I'll look for the adjustment left/right...thanks!

If the light is installed and you look down the back from the top, you can see a plastic "channel", if you will, that leads down to the side-to-side adjustment screw. You can get to it without removing the light if you have a really skinny, long Phillips screwdriver. I don't have one skinny enough to fit in that channel. Should have mentioned this earlier.

As for the Sylvania's... they're definitely whiter to the eye, but ultimately no. They did not do the trick. I'm preparing for my projector swap, very slowly, as I have the time. Finally got in all the parts, but I'm doing some painting at the same time so I'm struggling to find the right time to make the stars align. This is really what I bought the Depo's for, I was just hoping they were good enough to put it off longer.

My wife wouldn't let me take the side steps off. Well, we've been married 11months, I'm gonna go ahead and do it now so that I have Mexico and our anniversary to make it up to her haha.

Needless to say, I'm very happy with its look now. I do still love my RW wheels but a little change is nice now and then.

Buy her some sliders!

Installed more rear lights in the back... I like having the LED dome light but dam that thing is so bright and hard to reach at night. I almost always am either blinding myself or attracting lots of bugs... so I added a switch and side LED lights to illuminate the rear cargo area. I already have power in the back and a fuse panel so installation was pretty easy.

Nice! Do you have any pics of how you attached the factory positive wiring to the military terminal?

Apologies if it's improper to reply. On a 99, I used a power buss from Slee that has a 3/8 hole and two 5/16 bolts. I put the factory metal bracket onto the most rearward one.

Installed labraks brackets for the rear. Now have to install the CB antenna. Got 2 brackets and will put a LED light on the other side but don't have one yet so I'll have to get that coming.

Are you running wheel spacers with your wheel setup? If so how much? How's your upper control arm clearance?

I'm running Slee 1.25inch spacers and with the 33x12.5x18 I still have about 1 3/8ths gap between the sidewall and the UCA. But I might note that I'm running a OME Medium Kit with UCAs upgraded.

Cool, thank you for the information.

Finally got the Airlift airbags installed for towing. I used the opportunity of having the truck so high off the ground to go over everything from the transfer case on back with a visual inspection. Some minor rust I need to get after when the weather is reliably warmer, but it all looks good (whew!). First test of the airbags is in a couple weeks with a 600 mile tow of a 3700lb trailer.

Finished up my drawer build!!!

This is the final product!

And Finally, it was given 8 paws up

Good looking build! Can the drawers be removed individually? ie, keep just the left side in, vs right side?
