Did about 1000 miles in the desert and found some great campsites. And got stuck while we were at it. :)

Those are some fantastic pictures!

Where is this and how do you find or know where to go to be that far up and find these places? I'm in Kansas and don't get out much to go see those sights. How do you know about them? Is there actually a trail?

Replaced a couple switches on my center diff so it would engage and so the light would light up and therefore letting me use the front and rear lockers..Then went to explore the Chequamegon National Forest.

Great, thanks for the info on the motor mounts!

awesome pics. i'm curious how did the maxtrax worked out. been contemplating getting a set
Maxtrax are awesome! Totally worth it. Don't waste your money on knock-offs like the Smittybuilt ones. The TREDs are barely acceptable IMO, but the Maxtrax are a great tool.

Rubicon - From Tahoma to Rubicon Springs and back out. Cruiser performed flawlessly (not surprising).

I like seeing more German series 80s. Lower Saxony?

Oberpfalz, here.

Like to see a couple of Cruisers, come to the Buschtaxi meeting. Its also my first time.
I think 1500 vehicles + vendors will be present.
Oh and yea, I live in lower saxony.

Respite in the mountains.

Cool! I got to spend a bit of time behind the wheel of a 200 series this past weekend in the desert. Totally different feel from an 80 but that's not a bad thing. I wish I could disable the KDSS in the moderate speed stuff that's bumpy. Makes the ride feel harsh IMO. The Crawl Control is wickedly effective but it makes sounds like the truck is tearing apart from the inside. The 5.7 is addictive though after driving 80s for so long.
