@moclackens, I love the color combo of your rig...but I'm partial...

I hadn't seen this color scheme on any other trucks before, I kind of thought it might have been a JDM only thing, lol.

Took the dogs for a hike in the park on Sunday, snapped a few pics as we were getting back to the truck.

Sammy are those 315/75r16 MTR's?

.... I NEVER see another 80 when I'm driving mine. Only when I'm driving my 95 Jeep GC or the Chrysler T&C.

While that may seem like a valid reason, it's still no excuse to not ALWAYS drive your 80. :p

I WAS driving my 80 full time until it decided to puke all over......radiator exploded, front birfs and bearings were shot, brakes, calipers, and rotors were shot, the list goes on! Died 7/1/14 and finally got it back on the road 11/24/14.

I'm now back to DD my 80 and it runs and drives GREAT!
All new PS lines (OEM)
Flushed cooling system and back to Toyota Red
New radiator (OEM)
New rad hoses easily accessible (except for the PHH and other firewall hoses)
New vacuum hoses where accessible
New valve cover gasket (OEM)
New spark plug tube seals (OEM)
New dizzy O-Ring (OEM)
New cap, rotor, wires, plugs (all OEM)
New belts (OEM)
New brakes (Power Stop w/ 100's in front)
New Rotors (Power stop S&D)
New Calipers (NAPA Reman)
New SS Brake Lines (SS from Slee)
New front axles (RCV from Slee)
New wheel brg, trunnion brg, seals, dust boots, grease, oil, studs, nuts on front axle (Koyo)
New wheel brg, seals, gaskets, oil on rear axle (Koyo)
Engine oil change
New tires (GY Duratracs (285/75/16)x5
Added UltraGauge

Still painting the grille and the front factory bumper. Am taking measurements and working on a design for a front bumper while it's off.

I still need to do the springs / shocks, as the PO collapsed a spring and I'm running Airlift bags to help compensate. Bushings in all arms are also wore out. It has 222K on the clock.

Now that I have no $$$, I can DD it! Thank GOD the gas prices have come down to help me make up for it!

And guess what?!?!? Since I've been driving it again......I have not met another 80 while driving! And I've been driving it since November 24! The ONE day my wife and I are out in the van, we see a rainbow colored 80 with full perimeter bars and ARB front...One I have never seen before! DAMNIT!

Do they sell "My other vehicle is an 80" bumper stickers?

Still not a valid excuse to drive a Jeep... :)

Did some plasti-dipping before the weekend to see if I like blacked out grill, headlight- and side marker surrounds. So far so good.

So you're pro crazy uncontrollable weight transfer? ;)

Still not a valid excuse to drive a Jeep... :)

OK, .....OK....I Know. The Jeep has been my DD for about 10 years up until I got the 80 in 2012. Now, to show you even MORE blasphemy..... How did I get the 80 home after it puked? See attached...... I'm sorry, but it had to be done......
The old Jeep has given excellent service, (251K) so to reward it, I have given it to our 15 YO son to kill off.......

Fixed the death wobble in my 94 by re-torquing the front pan hard bolt. It was less than finger tight.
