Went and got a feel for my approach angle
had 6 days off following a shutdown at work, so finished off the stereo mods (swapped head deck (pio in alpine out 
), swapped 6x9's in rear doors, same deal as head deck, new 4 chan amp to run 6x9's & splits, only alpine crap left now is the splits & sub, I can live with that for now...), fixed up more wiring shambles as I found them including the masking taped mess on the rear door, removed rear seat heater as it was occupying valuable amplifier space, while coolant was empty cut upper rad hose and fitted temp sender, changed another 6 s***ty hose clamps, removed crappy rusted bolts in bullbar & body mounts, put in nice new zinc plated 8.8 and my factor 55 pro link winch hook 
, took it down to get the a/c sorted, 3rd regas & $300 later it now runs 6.1 deg 
, got a rad shroud for $20 so modified that to suit body lift (chop chop), installed 2x extra 12v outlets in centre console, swapped dash & interior lights for LEDs, flipped the upper rear arms as some numpty put them in upside down 
, and found tough dog(s***) shock on DS had died in the arse (broken pin, no rebound at all), so have ordered AmadaExtreme remotes to replace the rears this week, have to wait til next pay to do the fronts

Took my 1997 lx450 with only 50,000 on it ,to get inspected my the sheriffs office after new windshield was installed and metal bent back on roof from a row over my dad had. I'm changing the title from a salvage to a rebuild . It passed inspection and now waiting for new title. So maybe in a few weeks It will be on the road again after 10 years setting in the garage .

Bathed the little girl.Put my new front seat covers on. Didn't feel like putting the backseat cover on today. I'll do that tomorrow. Took me 10 min to put the two front seat covers on.

Installed my Christmas present.
Took a road trip with my family and my 88 year old grandpa. ( he was amazed with the 80).
A 500 mile road trip to the caribbean coast. we start at our town at 8.085 ftasl. down to 0 ftasl. Crossing the war zone the wife and I saw a dead guy that was shot minutes ago, no one around seemed to care. no pics of that. Continued our trip trying to forget that scene, as we sped thru the coca region we left it all behind and continue the trip. some beach cruisin, 90 miles of dirt roads, 10 days of rest.

Got a little hole in the muffler, it makes a funny robotic sound, this weeks will be fixed.
Already washed the rig to get all that sand and sea salt out of there.

Got halfway through the suspension swap on my 80s. My *new* '95 is getting all the OME stuff from my old '93. Not so good Skyjacker stuff coming off the '95 and going on the '93.

Went skiing with some friends.
Tires are way to bald (discount didnt order my tires last week), and my drivers caliper stuck on right when i pulled up to my house :/
@moclackens, I love the color combo of your rig...but I'm partial...
Crazie Eights took its 3rd day-trip this past Saturday. I got to ride with jdlsantos, and Kletzenklueffer for the first time. (Don't laugh all you Mudders west of the Rockies; three 80s in one place in Georgia is a big deal.)
He needs to work on his Venezuelan driving....
Did more repair manual merging. Almost time for a thicker binder. Printing double sided has helped keep it manageable so far.
Koi, I have had this rig for a couple months now and the po built the swing out bumper. It is integrated to the oem bumper and I have been really pleased with it so far. If your interested in it pm me and I can get you some good pics of the design
