That's why you get these

Are those just d rings? What are they attached to? The winch plate or frame? Sure would have come in handy the other day...

What light bar is on your roof and are you happy with it?

It is a 40" eBay bar. Not even Cree rated at 22,000 lumens. compared side by side with my friends 50" Cree bar, there aren't any visible differences. For $136 shipped I have no complaints.

If a Robert Frost poem had images, I think that's what it would look like! :)

Love the hood decoration!

This drive and working on this place has kept me sane. I truly was wondering which would get to me first. Insanity or retirement. Still questionable whether retirement won...

Nature has a way of coming up with some of the best paint schemes.

Inox for the window runners...it's a locally made thing here in AU.

My windows definitely need some love. I have to help mine up manually with my hands in the cold temps. I think I need some new runners and some of this Inox or something similar.

A quick fix we have here is a bit of engine oil...rub them well...run the windows a few times and voila. ..I know it attracts dust...but as I said...a quick fix till u can get them properly cleaned n lubbed

Had some fun in Big Bend National Park over the weekend. Roads aren't hard but they are desolate, fun and the scenery is great. Weather was perfect. I did about 80 miles of backcountry this trip. Full write up tomorrow once I make the time.

Made that much better by going "dig a dig a dig a dig a dig.... Insert whistle sound from time to time.... Dig a dig a dig a dig"

Did you go solo? I have been looking to get out there but just haven't been able to get a small group together. Some of the SA guys want to go in Dec or Jan.

I went solo. Its not that bad going solo. I usually pass another person or border patrol in the backcountry so I don't feel unsafe at all. I just don't leave my vehicle unattended along the river.

Funny thing was I put my GoPro on the roof rack and the only sound you hear is sloshing water and clanging tools, which were on the roof as well. I was so disappointed a few minutes ago after downloading the video.

Looking forward to your story!

Ha ha... I've found the suction cup to the windshield to be the best... Amazing the sounds the mic picks up even with the enclosed case.

Mine got a little bent

Almost got stuck in some light mud. Worst part was I was trying to show off my lockers. Toyo ATs with low tread left aren't very good on slick surfaces. :p

Agreed I did that the last time. Next time I may try the front bumper. I have the first gen GoPro so I can't replay anything on the camera so i never know if they are good or bad till I get home to the computer.

I'm in the same boat.... I can never seem to figure out an "exciting" angle... It always looks so.... Meh.

Gen 1's are sooo 2yrs ago... Crazy how fast they are coming out now. I think they are upto Gen 4 now.
