I did that. Still looking for it.
Tightened front passenger wheel bearing, checked the fluids, then took the troop carrier out to Top of the World Provincial Park without any troops. Mountain goats and an isolated mountain lake at 2100m (6900 ft) after a good hot hike. Good for skinny dipping 
Sunday: Replaced the four window runs (thanks Akella), greased all the mechanisms and replaced rear passenger side window motor (thanks Cruiserparts). We'll see if it makes a difference when temp drops. Also found out that PO had dented the inside panel of the tailgate. Made about a 1/2" gap allowing the whole back of the truck to fill with dust. Explains the fumes. Pulled it out and installed weather stripping to bridge the last bits.

Installed an in-line ball valve to shut the hot coolant flow to the throttle body. I understand the engineers have to design for all 50 states but there will never be any threat of my throttle body freezing here in AZ. Instead of the complete delete of the hot coolant hose coming off the water pump housing, I added an in-line ball valve that I can open back up in the winter months if I decide to.
With several mods to keep coolant temps under control with the supercharger, I am now focusing on reducing the intake temps in order to minimize the Knock Sensor timing retard and keep more power. Every little bit helps!
I am also exploring the Snow methanol water boost cooler injection kit.

Went wheeling with our group yesterday and had a good selection of vehicles from Jimny's to Jeeps to 81 LandCruisers. We were missing about 5 or 6 more 80's and all the 70Series but people were away on holidays and stuff. Had a fabulous day and no major breakages. I'll post some vids later.

Everyone but me is triple locked so I had to sit out some sections. Just as well as I didn't want to ding up my mall queen (3rd from the left). I took some good video and I'll embed it when I get it edited.
8 inch lift at full flex. A lot of one off custom stuff on this truck...very impressive.
The days group shot with the little Jimnys in front. I MUST get me one of these little giant killers. They beat the living s*** out of these things and they don't break.

added a spartin locker to the rear

I did that to the front flares and have been anticipating new, non-rusted fenders with no flares since!
This weekend my daughter and I swapped out the power steering pump on her mom's 95 after she killed the original pump during a turn-around in a local field. She got stuck, but powered out in 4-low with everything locked, hit a tree and broke and bent a lot of parts. At least her mom can steer now! The kid had just gotten her license.

Turn around... riiigght. Sounds like someone wanted a taste of the cruiser wheeling experience for herself and found more than she expected.
Good on her for figuring out the lockers and low range though.

Grand Canyon In An 80
Just returned from the most amazing camping trip with my family. We visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, starting with 2 nights on Point Sublime, then finishing at Toroweap. Both spots are well off the highway, Point Sublime 18 miles, and Toroweap 61 miles. To finish the adventure, we opted for the 90 mile offroad route from Toroweap to Saint George, Utah. What an unforgettable, amazing trip. Here are a few pics of our Toroweap campsite.

Did some basic maintenance, tightened brake bolts, knuckle bolts, greased everything up, etc.
Than put on some new 38/15.5/15 radial TSL'S.
Found some interference with the sliders, so cut an inch off each side and boxed everything back in.

Sprang a leak on my 3month old POS Chinese radiator while I was heading out to get these "new" shoes off of a CL find. Toyo Open Country 265/75/16. Have about 50-60% tread left. Nice tires. My radiator has a lifetime warranty, so hopefully this is just a fluke.
New starter - well, new to me at least. Reman from a local part-out. Should fix my intermittent no-start issue. Will be ordering a rebuild kit for the OEM denso I took out.
Installed a new GM vapor canister - on my recent big road trip I had some very significant pressure build up in the fuel system. On one fuel stop I had to wait a minute or two for the substantial venting to stop. Hopefully this takes care of the issue.

My buddy had his bachelor party camping east of Truckee, CA and I squeezed in some wheeling. The first day it starting raining on us when we were working up a pretty well-travelled trail. Then the rain got harder. Then it started hailing. Then the hail got big. And it came in sideways. The road turned into a stream and lightning struck way too close. We could hear the POP when it struck! We turned around pretty soon after that. The rest of the weekend was beautiful.

I took off Friday and Monday so it's still the weekend for me.
Got my Innovative Wiring turn/marker harness installed. Very nice product and the fit was perfect. Now all my marker lights including my ARB lights are turn signals as well. Cool mod. Thank you Ebag333 and Gary at Innovative Wiring.
