Looks like “with” a 6bt

For those out there with single din head units. Were you able to use the stock 80 brackets?

I cant get it to line up with my new head units and my search function skills are not cutting it

Yep deleted it completely with a 6bt. It was a little more expensive this way though.
Haha. I’m on that path too.

I had to drill new holes about 1/4” from the stock holes to bring the face of the receiver forward if I recall correctly

its so STUPID that you have to remove the whole fender just to replace the powered antenna. have one in store room almost a year now to replace the non working one on van
Agreed, I’ve been waiting two years to do this

Finally finished the cosmetic refresh on my '97 FZJ80. New front bumper, grill, all fender flare gaskets, drip rail trim, mud flaps, center caps, wipers and arms, and rear bumper end pieces. Removed the running boards and did some paint touch ups also.
Next up is a paint correction and ceramic coating.

Where did the fender flare gaskets come from? Does Toyota still sell them?

Yes they do, depending on what color you need. I know the black and white are still available. I ordered them from Partsouq.
For the white, only this P/N below still exists so you have to cut them to do the rear flares. Not sure about black or other colors.
The flare gaskets took a lot of patience to do. My advice is to get a couple extras.

I haven't done my 80 yet, but I was a professional car audio installer for years when I was young. Every 1990s Toyota I ever did, I reused the OEM brackets. Are you sure the brackets you have are stock? Did you accidentally swap left/right? Post some pics of where things are going wonky
