The grommet that @efjayatee shows in previous post is the one I'm also suggesting. It's been a while since I replaced my antenna, and I don't trust my memory. My memory is kinda hazy about the hole you 1st mentioned, @OffRoadScott. Apologize for my misunderstanding.

Yep, for US PS access, that's the one. There's a similar grommet on the US DS that I've used for main batt projects.

Got these today and installed them. Way better than stock now that the wires can be cleaned up. They hold strong on the battery terminals and feel like a solid product.

The hoses were hard as a rock and just crumbled. Glad I changed these out with good high pressure hydraulic hose, even though it's only low pressure.

I see you mounted that cooler where the high pressure hard line was, what did you do with the high pressure line? Did you just run a hose all the way from the steering box to steering pump?

Really don't see the logic in using that route for running your cables to the rear of your rig. Harder to access and IIRC, it is more difficult to thread wire through there due to at least 1 90* bend and the opening is smaller.. Plus the other firewall grommet will seal better. YMMV, though.

I see you mounted that cooler where the high pressure hard line was, what did you do with the high pressure line? Did you just run a hose all the way from the steering box to steering pump?

Despite being a hardline, it is low pressure and uses constant tension clamps at the steering box and at the reservoir.

Here it is on RHD, so mirror image. I don’t know if I’d run power through there but it might be perfect for CB/GMRS/Ham.

I drove my 80 to the gym. However and more importantly, I changed the front brakes on my 2013 VW GTI. It's tuned, has upgraded suspension, Borla exhaust, and I can't stand wrenching on it at all! Everything on the car is made of brittle plastic. I have always appreciated Toyota engineering, but even more so now.

Are the new Toyota trucks and cars engineered as well as the old?

fixed a leaky rear LHS axle shaft seal that made a bit of a mess of the hand brake shoes and then spent the day on the Goulburn river
I must have got it early as the oil level in the diff hadnt dropped much

oh yah. Safari snorkel is nothing compared to this. It helps that I picked up an extra fender just in case.

Yeah I thought it was a 2 hour job..... turned into 8. The tough part for me was aligning to the A pillar.

Started my fronaxel rebuild, it’s a messy job

I do have some questions I hoped you guys could have the answer to, can I remove left and right axel without destroying/making more work to the diff?

And partnumber for this one, is it called swaybar arm?
I was not able to remove the bolt, so ended up grinding it off at the end, so I need a new one.
