replaced battery terminals
negative was cracked and positive needed refurb
repurposed a used positive terminal for the ground side - cut off old negative terminal w dremel, drilled larger hole to bolt cable to pos/now negative terminal and attached "new" terminal end after worked it to slightly smaller diameter size on a vise
cut the upright tab on plastic terminal insulator and bent metal tabs on end so can clamp down on negative post
had random toyota positive post cover in parts box so repurposed it to cover positive post - trimmed plastic to fit
also replaced fusible link/s but not enough slack in harness (prefer link inside battery box) so released plastic fender clip below battery box) for couple extra inches)
now back to other electrical stuff
