I was thinking the Portuguese fisherman...

Also interested in where you got the cover, and the drip pans you have the diff/shafts sitting in. Been on the hunt for both for a minute now!! lol
Not the exact pan, but close enough (Blitz used to make/sell them, but alas, no more):

I have two of these and a half dozen large mortar tubs. Indespensible.

In my quest for braking improvement I did a pressure bleed. After jacking rear of truck up 6” to bleed the mc. This is because on my list of causes of a spongy pedal is air in mc. And the nose points up when mounted, trapping air. I bench bled before mounting this new mc. I used a universal kit with hoses that run back to mc res from Napa to bled.
Lowered truck then when testing pressure bleeder is was dripping at chrome universal fitting. So I added thread tape and it held pressure. Results are marginal improvement. I’m suspecting a faulty new mc.

What if these people you took the truck back actually purchased the truck from the thief? Or purchased the truck from the previous owners that purchased the truck from the theif? Just FYI, should think about this more.
That would be epic. Doubtful but epic.

So I called the insurance and they just said to call the detective "working" on the case. The process will be it will probably get towed (or I can just drive it to them 😁), insurance will take a look at it and then eventually it goes to auction. I will try everything to win it back!!
Thanks everyone for the support and helpful comments/suggestions. Protect your rides!!!
Goes to auction??? I hope someone doesn’t out bid you on YOUR property, weird things happen.

Finally found 4 x OEM steel wheel caps after searching every source known to man. Upgraded front rotors and callipers to DBA units. Had front swivel hubs rebuilt at the same time - two snapped main studs needed replacement. Replaced all studs with new OEM. Extensive baselining is now complete - ended up being more than I bargained for in the end.

love the OEM steelies, still have mine and one day will get a set of mud tyres for them

Took the wife and the dogs out to Vashon Island here in WA. Drove around, saw some cool old cars, had a cider tasting, good times all around.

Cool imported Delica.

My other love is old BMWs, specifically the E30 chassis 3 series cars.

A coworker of mine has one of those Mitsubishi Vans…..Delica “Space Gear” I think it’s called. Turbo diesel, 4x4 and a 5 speed. It’s definitely spacious.

Finally got my rear 4x4labs built and painted. You never can grasp how sturdy these bumpers are until you weld up your own and pull it on and off the back of truck multiple time to make sure everything fits.
Just need to finish painting the Jerry can holder.

Looks sweet, but they do look a little short. How much of that joint is threaded into the link? Wouldn’t ever see a need to make them shorter and that looks like the only adjustment.
There is an 1 1/2 of thread engagement on each end. If I was to do it again I would just buy all the parts separately and get my own links cut but I bought it as a kit and I think they did the minimum length possible to keep the price as low as possible .🤷🏼‍♂️ I’ll put them to the test when I go to hammers at the end of the month.
