Removed the rear heater core. The hole in the floor is covered by Gorilla tape on both sides for now. Need to get to a body shop and see if they can patch it. Needs to be done before Ohio winter salted and sanded roads start the corrosion process.
There was a company that made an aluminum plug for this hole but he is no longer in business.
Maybe @Outsane could 3D print something for the masses.
Picked up my 1FZ cylinder head from the machine shop, then picked some Plumeria flowers blooming in my backyard. All and all a very productive day!

Bought a new master cylinder and have the wilwood proportioning valve plumbed to help with the brake bias.

It gets a bit too hot from the exhaust in that area for a print. Keep the ideas coming.

Why did you delete it? Cover the tape with Flextape and spray your underside (which you should do anyway) with FluidFilm. I've kept my 80 in great condition using it here in salty Minnesota. Moving out of here would be the best solution.
Replaced spark plugs and cords with OEM parts. Cleared check engine light but it came back after 25 miles. At least one code was addressed which was engine misfiring. Spark plugs knocked it out but the motor still runs rough though. EGR code still showing. Ordering the EGR parts. Not sure how to diagnose engine rough running.

Reminds me of what the local bear did to my job-site can last Monday in Telluride- ripped the back handles out with his teeth and spread the trash all over the driveway. New can charge from Waste Management was $315.
I've been working on cleaning bolts and parts for the front & rear axle rebuild- 3rd members being re-reared on Tuesday so I can begin the re-assembly process.
WM is doing it dirty. We get one free wheely bin swap out per year with Alameda County Industries. Which is good because the dudes that operate grab and dump claws on the trucks, treat the bins like that bear.
Daughters doing some prep work before she gets her license in 2 weeks.
New front pads. We put 100 series pads on when we upgraded to 97 brakes. But the pads are larger than the rotors just slightly. So back to 80 pads.
Trans service including dropping the pan. The trans shop that rebuilt it used a gasket. And it's always leaked. So some fipg is going on.

Obviously leaking due to the gasket
Drove 9hrs to pick up my h151 and drove another 9hrs to drop it off at Ozark overland outfitters. Progress on the fte & h151 swap is coming along nicely. Then drove another 9hrs back home. Things we do for a Land Cruiser
