Roof and hatch repainted after welding spoiler holes.
Hatch glass re-installed after paint.
Offset license plate bracket.
@4x4labs bumper with right sided spare option and non-flare option and I trimmed my flares. I like the look!
Bumper in custom color to match 40th grey.
Looks good! Good to see others putting their spare on the correct side!

Finished it up today but finally got around to installing some delta radius arms and making a little adjustment to the play in the steering box. Drivers side chassis bushing was roached, likely my made up a big part of the pucker factor. All that said it goes down the road straight and is much more stable. Still need to get around to the sway bar bushes and drop brackets.

Got my hot side turbo parts back from the ceramic coater! Unfortunately I don’t have a 80 to put it on anymore (already have a turbo 80) so up in the air with what to do? Sell the kit or hold onto it for a rainy day?

I mean if you have good parts to use on hand already, and no platform to use them on, it means you need another platform to put them on, right?

That's the logic with guns (I have a spare buttstock, optic, nice trigger, etc, better get a new receiver to build it out) should apply to vehicles too

Used it to pull a tree that we dropped out of the yard and out to the side property.

How about the ride difference?

From the limited mileage driven since the rear shock change I'd say the Dobinson IMR rides about the same as the Bilstein 5100 on the street/ freeway.

The difference is in the construction of the shock - the IMR is noticeably larger in all respects, and seems to be overall of higher quality.

Unless you have a white 80 you understand that the clearcoat on the other colors is something that really shows the age of these cruisers. My 80 is no different. When I bought it almost 10 years ago it had failing clearcoat on the hood, roof, cowl and flares. I painted the flares, repainted the hood but the cowl and roof have always been bad. Over the past year the clearcoat has gotten worse and the tops of the fenders are failing now too. I decided to do something about it but I am waiting to do a full respray when I rebuild or replace the motor. So I decided to try wrapping the truck. I love the factory Moonglow color and didn't want to get rid of the moonglow but there isn't a vinyl color that matches it so I decided to treat it more like graphics, I designed the wrap to strategically cover the worst areas of failing clearcoat as well as the rocker panels that have their share of chips in the paint. I was able to keep a good amount of the moonglow on the doors but used a metallic black on the rear and a metallic white on the front and roof. I'm super happy with how it came out and also glad to have something different than all the other graphics we see so often like the Ivan Stewart colors or reproductions of factory style stripes in a variety of colors. It's my second attempt and wrapping a vehicle. I also wrapped my son's minitruck and it turned out ok for a first attempt. Quality it a bit better with this one but still wouldn't call myself a pro.

Still need to put the roofrack back on the truck but I'm taking some time to clean it up and give it a refresh.

a couple other detail of the wrap that show the metallic a bit better in the sun. Also left the 4500 twin cam decals on the quarter panels. I like how they look under the new vinyl.

Don't mind the door handles. They are plastidipped at the moment (done about 6 years ago). They'll be getting wrapped in the near future.

Two 80 Series colors that are single-stage. White and black. The 202 black paint code was first used on 1977 Celica GT Liftbacks.
