I bought mine, brought it home yesterday (Saturday)!

So far I've replaced the amber corner lights with clear ones (driver side was broken) and done a ton of cleaning. Needs a windshield and I have to diagnose a possible faulty brake switch (brake lights don't always work and won't shift out of park unless you jiggle the STOP relay) but should have it roadworthy soon!

Took it to the range to sight in my match rifle.

Second picture is my kids spotting shots for each other and calling impacts/misses at 500m. Good times.

I’m doing that thing where you rip out your entire interior and find all the stuff the previous owner forgot to tell you. Oh and sound deadening/heat shield/re-carpeting and running speaker wire.

Almost finished, just need to do the door panels and use some scrap to fill in some gaps. A clean slate is kinda nice.

Installed a pair of Trail Trailer extended length rear sway bar links under my 1997 FJ80.

Turns out this was a timely parts replacement - one of the lower link bolts was loose, with the nut soon to be on it's own!

Which one is the original and what is the part number for the 76c?

The thermostat I removed was the 82c. The new thermostat is the 76c. New thermostat # is 90916-03089.

82c is 180*

Curious. Maybe the thermostat was changed out in mine at some point. The 82c I pulled out looked old but not rusted.

Last minute San Juan trip. It wasn't really a wheeling trip, I mostly went to ride my mountain bike. Road up Yankee Boy basin and also Black Bear Pass. I did take the cruiser over Imogene and had two great nights camping.

Finished the preliminary install of the boost [PSI] and EGT gauge [C]. EGT is Pre-turbo.
Check out the video showing the gauges in action.

Finished up the AC refurb, need to find a different compressor however. The evaporator removal and replace wasn’t as bad as I thought. The old evaporator (original?) was nasty. Rear heater deleted and hoses all hooked up. No leaks

Both are red but looks like coolant staining. Clean up the whole area, so you can have a fresh look since it’s right under the trans.

Could also be power steering, since they call for ATF for power steering.

I am betting it is a coolant leak as that does not look like an oil stain on the concrete. Check your fire wall hoses, heater valve and then the hoses and lines going to the rear heater.
