Quick weekend trip to Utah with @ExpoMax. No longer in an 80, but thats okay. His little Diesel GMC is pretty cool. We did lots of driving between Friday night and Monday morning but it was so fun. We made it all the way down to Lake Powell at one point. 1,300 miles in 3 days. Cruiser did not miss a beat.

That's the Trail Gear bumper. I have the same one and it's great. Only gripe I have with it is how far it sticks out if you're crawling a lot, but I fixed that lol.

Nice. I thought it looked familiar, same look as the mini truck/tacoma style.

It is. Apparently they haven’t run the ferry for a few years. Crazy how low it still is I thought the water was at a higher level.

I ran forum and google searches for audio terms and also “new youtube video” stuff because he linked his videos here in the past. Haven’t come up with anything and it’s driving me nuts

Opposite.....
Using China made crap will cost you more when failed. Landtank and LCP are cruiserheads and they test theirs on their own rigs. Can't say with other Chinese made crap. But it's your $ and do as you will...you have that right.

What's the tint you have on your rig?

I don’t know. One of the POs had it done. It is not really as dark as it looks in the pics and some of it is starting to peel up on the sliding windows. Seems kind of bluish and old to me. I’m going to get new tint soon.

10hr marathon yesterday to finish it up…. Cranked for about 5 sec, then fired right up (assume it had to pressure up the fuel filter). It has a “stutter” hesitation accelerating from a dead stop (which it did not do prior to rebuild), but runs great otherwise. Double checked all the vacuum lines and the MAF connection and all seemed good. I will double check the timing and the TPS tomorrow (seems the TPS is one of the few sensors I didn’t change out… go figure).

Timing is just bouncing around and barely will idle anymore… wondering if I missed the distributor gear by one cog?

Does this look correct for TDC?
