Are these the 24 or 30 spline RCV's? Been looking at these but I'm not sure which to go with
these are rear. they only come 30 spline.
If you're looking at fronts, it depends on what you're doing with your truck.

D'oh, I can't read

I'm looking for fronts, I run a 265 size tire with no plans to go bigger. My LX is primarily used for road trips, forest service roads, and light to moderate wheeling.

I'd go with some stock replacements than. RCV would be overkill in my opinion...

Got the fenders and lights back in, and built some rear bump stops. Little bit more trimming on the rear, and it should be ready for a shake down run. The stump is a little to short to flex it all the way out, have about 2" more front and rear. 40s with the 5.29s and 10% under keeps it a little bit above the stock gearing. Have to put some more toe in it, but goes down the road with the cruise and tunes playing at 60.

Hubs drilled. Waiting on new hardware, seals and gaskets from Cruiser Outfitters. Once those arrive I’ll be putting it all back together.

Officially have a leak-free 80 (if old valve stem seals don’t count). This whole area was wet/dripping from the trans cooler lines leaking where it passes through the rad support/under battery box. Hard to tell where it was coming from with the fluids being the same color.

I like the new 300m axles, and I run them problem is after adding more and bigger dowels stock axle won't work as spares 🤨
If you drill out your stock axles then they don't work for someone else that may need them on a trail run.
I ended up garbing a spare hub to go with my spare axles 😎

D'oh! That didn't even cross my mind. Good thinking on the extra hub. Time to find a spare...

I finally was able to figure out how to get the Factory RS3000 Alarm into Valet Mode to save me the embarrassment from the Alarm automatically setting 15 sec after the door was closed every time I was at the carwash/Valet. I've tried all the other methods and couldn't get it to work, this one did, I am happy.

1. Sit inside
2. Close the door
3. Turn Key to ON Position
4. Press both Buttons on FOB until Security Light on Dash Lights up.
5. Press top Button on fob 3 times. (Do this within 10 sec after Line#4)
6. Turn key to lock position.
7. Open door.

Looks like that front tire is in the finder no ?

Illusion/bad pic. There's about 5/8", can run my thumb around easily, and it will tuck up in. Still have some more trimming I'm sure, but its getting there. First shakedown run is gonna be next week, and will have a cutoff wheel and sawzall with for sure. I formed some 1/4" solid rod that I am going to tack in once I make sure everything is clearanced enough.

Looking good 😎
When I was fitting my 39 I removed the springs and was running it up to the bump stops and Clarence an additional half-inch.
In real world Wheeling I still rub a tiny bit
