Something I have meant to do for ages! Got the pulley system set up to remove the tent from my roofrack and hang it from the garage ceiling. Step 1 in pulling a bunch of stuff off to clean up and refresh.

I welded up a frame with hooks at each corner that is above the tent and hooks to some handles I have on each corner of the tent. Spreads the load nicely.

Back in an 80. Sold my first July last year and my 570 in March. Little cruiser break but feels good to be back.

Plasti-dipped the grill, headlight + corner light surrounds.
Had a great trip to the Eastern Sierras and the Inyo mountains. Fun having 3 generations of trucks out there. The 80 handled like a warrior. The 4runner shredded a tire about 15 miles from pavement. Full size spare in good shape, but it was a street tire. Slow crawl back!
Looks great! Nice inspiration to do the same thing to mine.
Maybe the first Wildpeak R/T01 tires to go on an 80 Series???

Replaced the rear bumper corners with factory new (awesome not NLA) and snagged a NOS steel plate.
Idiot behind the wheel needs to not be lazy when backing up in strip malls.

When are the steel bumpers coming? I don’t see you as a swing out guy (im borderline on that as well if im honest with myself), but a clean and flat labs rear and some bior step sliders would look so good imoTurn this

Heads going back on a rebuild, block needed .007 thousandths taken off to make it smooth again. My little helper handed me the ARP head bolts one by one with her broken arm.
