This week’s maintenance items and additions to my lx450.

Sway bar spacers - front
Bump stop extensions - front/ back
Throttle cable assembly
Stearing column firewall seal

Braided brake hoses - frame to axle.
Replace brake fluid while bleeding brakes.

My toyos were shi* after 7 punctures and a torn sidewall I went back to Nittos. 3 sets of nittos and over 100,000 miles on nittos and I haven't had a single flat tire. They do weigh quite a bit more than toyos and others but that's why they hold up.
Wow, way different experience from me. Mine were also very heavy and wore very well, harder tread compound. Did not grab near as well as my current set, pro-comps. Did have a puncture on the PCs once, that was on me going where I should not have been. Took a broken tree branch about mid-way up the sidewall. I do know a lot of guys in the Copper State Cruiser club love the nittos as well.
 
yep, my deflator gauge was off. need to double check it next time.
Just use a knee. Press your knee against the sidewall and lean into the tire. You should be able to make it flex around the knee with little effort.
 
Another #6 head gasket failure 270k miles. “Edit” 311k miles customer I sold a motor to said it was still running strong and no signs of failure he just felt like it was down on power. Good intuition!!
