Changed the valve stem on two wheels on my 80.

Broke the bead with a hilift, cleaned the hole and sealing surfaces with Scotch -Brite and Emery cloth.

I used just a touch of rubber cement to make sure I get a long term seal.

Then I sucked out 1/2 gallon of coolant so I could add back pure coolant because the mix was too low and I'm getting ready for a trip to Nebraska again and we're heading into winter. It was only good to +20°F. I'll run it for a bit and test it again.

It’s awesome when your friend that doesn’t work on cars tells you he has something in the garage for working on engines.

He said to me let me bring it over.

Finished my tuffy console divider. Made it out of a/c plywood and spray painted to match the oak (color is rustoleum metallic bronze or something, search here and you’ll find)
I went with an oil based urethane just for a smoother touch.
Used drawer liner on bottoms.
1st trayis 6”.
2nd sliding tray 3 1/2”
Used a motion detecting night ligh from Home Depot. It’s perfect.
Really helps tidy this thing up. Before it was a 12” bottomless pit!

It’s a blessing when you have good friends!
My Cruiser buddy let me borrow the velvet hammer while I’m getting the new OE SB in.
It sure motivates me to get back in my old truck. I feel like a drug dealer.
It is fun to hoon the ricers though.
A couple cool cars at my buddy's shop.
It's also a blessing to be making such wondeful friends later in life!:)
