What color are you going to paint it?
Not sure. I’m going to get it tanked and then store it until next year. Got any suggestions? Rainbow to show my acceptance and inclusivity?

Well, that'll be different for sure.

I like how the two I've done came out. The first was wrinkle black undercoat with gunmetal grey on top.

This one is just wrinkle black.

Both those look nice. Mine was originally wrinkle-black but I think I like the smooth texture of OEM. I like the look too but because this one is a spare cover, I'm probably going to do a little experimentation with it.

Front soft lines installed. I should have pressure washed the underside before going under, layer of dried mud in fender wells, and thick oil, greasy layer underneath due to leaking oil pump cover. Could not get the clip installed on the driver side soft line but the engine is coming out in a few weeks and I'll have good access then.

It was last weekend, went wheeling and camping three day trip with friends in the Sierras on the Swap lake trail

Super fun trip, good times, good people !!!

Tried and failed to purchase a 2-Ton engine hoist, so since I need to return my Father-in-law's trailer, I engineered this 3FE ike an ancient Egyptian, got it upright and stable, off the trailer and onto a dolly without hurting myself.

Luck was on my side.. Crank bolt off with one bump of the starter and oil pump screws came out with zero issues… Maybe I should go grab a lotto ticket…!!

I got my hands on the new @Delta VS roof rack a few weeks ago and wanted to put my thoughts on the rack out there for those wanting to hear some 1st hand experience. I posted a detailed review here in the 80 tech forum

2nd battery tray installed and PCV valve/hose replaced. Are you all running the battery cables in front of the radiator where the headlight harness runs, or the long way back to the firewall? I'm going to mount the isolator behind the 2nd battery tray fwiw

Under radiator support. More direct and clean. Just zip tie it in....

A 3 day weekend camping and running trails in the UP Michigan. Day one is a blast so far. Had to bust out the traction boards once and added the first pinstripes this LC has ever seen. It only took 30 years for an owner to care enough!

Aired down to 22psi for some beach driving.

The Mouth of the Huron area is worth the drive in the off season. Only 2 other campers here.

I'll be doing some paddling tomorrow and a bit more exploring.

what is the general iH8mud recommended air pressure for beach driving and other trail running?

Did the same job just before world locked down last year. Mine came out easy too. White 80s got slightly better oil cover screws. Just one of the many benefits.
