Getting back on the bandwagon and pushing to finish my restoration by the end of the year. I don't know why but I love taking things apart but hate putting them back together.... if anyone is bored and wants free beer I could use some help

TWSS!That's still a lotta pumps to make.
Lol one of those things like snorkels that makes me cringe too. I still have one though also, beyond convenient.Swore I’d never do it but I got one of those dumb spare tire backpacks. Makes sense for firewood and hauling trash but I promise -I SWEAR - I will NEVER drive with it on the back when I’m not on a trip. Loaded up for a big wheeling weekend with @Wermz and @MongooseGA

Yes, it sits inside the gasket just like the factory 1-piece windows. WAY cleaner, and no dealing with that janky aluminum frame.Does the Yodateq window just sit inside the window rubber? Does this mean that there is no aluminum frame to mess with?
If so, I'll have to pick these up.
You get it plenty high enough. You can easily change 35s with the factory jack.
Ya, scratched my head on this one for a sec. Stock bottle jack, 3" lift and 35"s never was an issue to change a tire.
2in lift + 295s all around. I haven't had to use it on the side of the road but the factory jack is the only jack I have at the moment and have used it a couple times to get the wheels up without any issue. I've been keeping a small 4x4 cut in the back just in case I ever run into an issue where I need a little more reach. At some point might grab one of the adapters but haven't had a good enough reason to spend the $45 on it yet.I haven't had to change a tire on the side of the road in a long time, so I haven't had to give the bottle jack a shot - even though that's my plan should it happen. Just a floor jack in the garage.
Do you guys run it as-is, or do you have one of the adapters like Land Cruiser Phil offers?

We had one of Phil’s adapters on factory 80 bottle jack during a trail repair a few weeks ago, very handy when on uneven ground and using both a hi lift and bottle jack etc. for axle positioning, I will definitely add one to my trail rig.2in lift + 295s all around. You're not the only one who feels this way. I have one and I love it when I'm camping but that crap comes off the minute I get home. It doesn't need to be back there if I'm not using it....said the guy who needs to take his RTT offSwore I’d never do it but I got one of those dumb spare tire backpacks. Snorkels make you cringe?...I never understood that. I mean they can look cheesy if they're the only thing on the vehicle but half the time I forget I have one. I guess I've just gotten used to seeing it.Lol one of those things like snorkels that makes me cringe too. I still have one though also, beyond convenient.
Yeah, we'd hate to see you lose control and mess up the body
