Several of us are.... I hear multiple shipping crates arrived with parts piled inside waiting to be sorted. Common minimum wage Dobinson parts sorter kid, step it up!!! PS, please don't scratch my springs.... I may not paint them.

Ditto.

I may be more likely to repaint, though.

BEEFIER... Will go on once I decipher all the parts, spacers and bushings. Good ol OME lasted 20 years, feel about dead tho.

BEEFIEST of beef.... Good ol GEN1 SLEE arms, a bit gimmicky and not sure the threads ever worked, one arm thread blew out, on vacation of course, but overall 20 years of use, did ok. Will be like new again with a bit of welding on the 2nd and likely bushings. The one arm that blew out the threads have shot bushings.

I had a set of those old Slee arms on my last 80. One of mine broke right under one of the rear eyes so it was basically like the hitch pin mod for who knows how long until I found the break.

OME lift installed on the 80...FINALLY. Holy sh*t what a difference! The ride is SO. MUCH. BETTER. It's like a whole different vehicle. Should have done this 10 years ago but it was the wife's daily. Now I have the typical 80 series tire struggle 33 or 35? Likely going with the 33 K02 since I don't plan on wheeling this rig enough to justify a 35 and really don't want to open the money faucet on upgrading gears etc. Power and fuel are already poor enough on these things.

If you're on the fence about a lift- DO IT. It's worth every cent just for the ride improvement alone.

Going to need new gears for the 35s anyway ...may as well just go with 37s. :D

I see you are living up to your "full of opinions and expensive ideas" quote :D
Consistency is important, so I've been told.

Hey, I didn't say coil overs, links, high + hydro steer and Sheel-Manns!

There it is. Not even 20 minutes after the previous post

FWIW, I drove my last 80 on 35's with stock gears for 15 years. No big thing. ;)

Made it 20 years here 35's and 4:11 gears. Probably took 10-15 to get all the panhards, control arms and drive line all sorted. It's really about what you WANT to get fixed and how bad does it annoy you thing. Thought 37's were just plain silly and here we go here next so glad the 33's were skipped altogether, also completely skipped the speedo correction and not it comes full circle and spot on lol.
MGP is going to suck no mater what you do, doubt 35's will affect it all that much. you have the wrong vehicle if concerned about that.

MPG was never a concern, it's always sucked :grinpimp:

I know me, I would hate the 33 decision the minute I drove away.
