LQ9 = horse power. An LQ9 is the 6 liter GM v8 ls engine. I don't know why anybody would rebuild a 3fe or take the time to swap a ruined 3fe for another 3fe.

yeah I'll put the carpet back in. I have some KillMatt on the way with some insulation and cleaned up the carpet, so I'm hoping for a nice refresh of this old forgotten 80.
Had a great time riding some forest roads and trails this weekend, about got the old girl back to baseline.
Absolutely nothing fun... my 80 series took me to work.

I replaced the second row window runs and adjusted the glass.
68142-60011 and 68152-60011. The windows move better and the motor sounds better when rolling the windows up and down.
I also pulled the factory roof rack. I had to cut one of the mounting screws because the rivnut spun when removing. Then I had a second rivnut spin when tightening the screw to plug the hole. I’ll replace both rivnuts and plug them until I pull the interior and weld up the holes. The cruiser is from AZ so just the slightest hint of rust around the rivnuts under the rack.

Finished up the winch and made a high lift mount
I think your Doberman was supervising you while you installed your winch cable. Did he approve of the job you did?
