This is the first time in a while I have worked on the Land Cruiser. I started pulling the PS reservoir to allow the hoses to drain then I jumped over to tackle the wire harness. Got to a good stopping point then called @Cruiserhiggs and agreed on him getting this thing fixed. I also had a little company, our Dutch Sheperd/Belgian Malinois pup loves to hang without with me no matter what.

I did driver side and kept the remains of my tired gasket and then just put silicone on all the screw holes/clips. So far so good, didn't leak during the most recent storm.

Did the same to the passanger side as I had a little lake going on in the bottom of the quarter panel. Been cleaning up previous owners halfway done fixes. Noticed a clip and a clear house just hanging and couldn't find too much info though search. Anyone know exactly what they are for?

rear window squirter, no?

Took a spin around Joshua Tree National Park. Headed to KOH on Wednesday. Figured id burn through some $4 gas and see if it was that much better.

That's what I thought first but previous owner did some rust repair in the quarter so wasn't sure if the hose was supposed to go up the tailgate like the DS does? My first 80 so trying to figure out what's normal and not normal. Bellow is what the drivers side looks like

Those are hoses for 80 series with ambulance doors and window squirters. They are installed in all, but not used.

Brake upgrade- this is on a thread started by Dirty Koala and some others converting some 5th gen 4runner front brakes. I just got the idea to take it to the next level off their research These are tundra rotors and Wilwood 6 piston calipers, butchered the kit they have available for the 2014 4runner. Not sure if I'm doing this correct but here is the link. 17" rims might fit but not 100% sure, I tried my 18' and they fit fine and they spec 18's also. I'll follow up a bit more on the thread once I get them fine tuned, pedal feel still a little soft but need to do a full bleed yet.

Interior is nearing completion and then I’ll do some work where it really counts... got some great battery cables from @Fourrunner that I’ll hopefully get to this coming weekend!

did you wrap that wheel yourself? Looks good. I still have a leather cover sitting in my "parts bin" waiting for me to tackle.

I lucked out with that from the previous owner (but I was left several other “gifts” to make right in return... still in discovery mode, I fear).
I wrapped my 100 wheel. It was fairly easy but it did take some time. The kit worked really well and fit well.
