Enjoyed wheeling Chinamans with @Nay and some college buddies after camping on Tincup the night before.

Also probably worth saying I was in front of the sign not back behind it where cars are not permitted the angle makes it look like I was close.

Also got some good video doing the rock pile

Very thorough spotter

Went to start it last weekend and no clicky. Well, there was a sort of half-click. Looked at the dash gauge, that was pointing south, so I grabbed the trusty Fluke meter and sure enough, 10.5 Volts. So I hooked up the battery charger and brought it back up to 12.8 Volts, checked current draw (16mA), no problem there. I checked the voltage again after an hour and it was right back down to 10.5 Volts. I guess since the last time I drove it (one week ago) a cell decided to go bad on me.

The battery was 5-1/2 years old so I knew I was on borrowed time, but there was no warning. No slow cranking, nothing! Good thing it gave up while parked in the garage, since I did do a lot of solo trips into some pretty remote places this summer.

Obligatory pic:

Interestingly, the first Interstate battery I had was a "84 Month", which lasted about 6 years, so I got credit toward a new one. The replacement then was a "6 Year" battery, which lasted 5.5 years. Today's new battery just says "30-Month Free Replacement".
I have a feeling this one will last 31 months.

Pretty painless install minus the panhard bolt not wanting to break free at first. Had to pull the tire to get good leverage on it pushing down.

Huge improvement on the road. Went from constantly correcting on the highway to barely needing to guide the wheel.
10/10 would recommend.

Also drove this and sparked a bit of curiosity into the German world

That's good feedback.... which BP 51 height/shocks did you end up going with? As you know I have the bp-51 and still experience a bit of wander

Had a similar "No Clicky" event last week. Battery was only 2 1/2 years old but costco gave a 3 year warranty. Quick trip there and received a new replacement with a further 3 years warranty. This is now the 3rd time they have swapped the battery under warranty. Costco sure is the gift that keeps on giving.. :)

I bought mine at Wheel Works. They never even bother to test the battery, so I think I'll bring this one back right before the warranty expires. ;)

Regular length shocks, med rear spring/heavy fronts.
I have a bit of sway/wander but thinking its mostly due to the front being too stiff since i don't have a winch in the bumper or dual batt in yet. A bit oversprung still.
Still much much better with the delta parts.

Rookie question for the group
Found something green leaking from the bottom of my ac pump. I’ve have flushed my green coolant when I got the LX and put red in. What could that green leak be? Is there a green oil inside the pump by any chance?
