At the wrap place....

Me: I was thinking about a dark green satin with a little flake, close to the stock color.
Wrap dude: yeah I got you. here, this is exactly what you want.
Me: ... ok f*** it, why not?

The pics don't do that justice. A guy in a BMW parked next to me at the QT a couple months ago with that same wrap. It looks really good up close.

I'll keep my black on my LC though. ;) ;)

Hey Brodie - Great info. I am going to have to do the same shortly. From your photos, I see fasteners / hardware, and isolators. Did the kit come with those ? How about the gaskets ? Any issues with fit-up ?

Thanks - 97LC80

Yeah it came with gaskets but I don't recall if the second Cat came with bolts or not, I do know I didn't like the bolts that came with the Y-pipe and wanted them to all be the same size, so I got a few of these Dorman sets, they worked great. Dorman 03423 Exhaust Manifold Hardware Kit

I got all new exhaust hanger bushings with hardware as well from Wits End, you'll need 3 of them, mine were all torn up or dried out. 80 Series OEM Rubber Exhaust Bushing Kit

Getting an early start to the weekend. Installed a new vinyl center console cover that showed up in the mail today.

Similar to last week but this time I opened the hatch, turned the fridge off then closed the hatch and locked it again. Whew, what fun I've had during COVID-19. I should post pics. At least my tires are lasting longer this year.

Or flat spots and dry rot. (All kidding, I hear ya)

Rotated my tires for the first time since I got them maybe three years ago. Rear wheels were totally stuck to the rotor. No amount of kicking or even bashing the tire with the biggest f-ing hammer I could find (which happened to be a spare rear driveshaft) would get them loose. So put the lug nuts back on, loosened them a few turns and went for drive around my neighborhood. All low speed, but swerving and hard braking didn't knock them loose. I had to actually drive over a couple curbs before the wheels broke free. Rotors are in pretty bad shape, but my pads still have lots of meat left. Ashamed to say I don't think my rear wheels have been off since 2017.

Also fixed some faulty headlight wiring... again. This truck has something against two working headlights.

Removed front swaybar and I'm narrowing down the front end clunk to my low-mile tatton drive shaft (still not positive, but seems most likely cuplrit at this point). Anybody know if I can put matsuba or toyota u-joints into one of these? They come with blue spicers.

Out with the old....

In with the new...

I supplied the new OEM gasket and Safelite provided some Chinese glass. I guess glass is glass. The old windshield was Toyota but was only sealed at the bottom corners. Not a drop of sealer anywhere else which is likely why it was leaking.
