Not sure if it’ll actually happen but my goal is to start this bad boy up by this weekend. It’s been really slow because I’ve been waiting on pieces and because I’ve just been ridiculously busy.

The PHH hell starts tomorrow and I should have distributor, wires, cap, rotor, condenser, radiator ready by tomorrow. Gonna try and get the power steering kit done as well. Fingers crossed.

I was thinking about the vehicles in my fleet and realized they all share a common bond.... inline 6, naturally aspirated with a timing chain ⛓ and rear or all wheel drive.

94' Landcruiser
00' M roadster
04' 325xi touring
06' Jeep wrangler (inherited from late father in law - totally stock, 6spd)

As usual I'm driving my favorite of the group...

Lol - I’ve thought the same thing as I gravitate to straight six motors - had a 66 mustang, 325xi, x5, two 80 series and (someday) hope to have a cherry 240z.

Bought wifey what my 200 could've been...... ( with a LOT of $$) triple locked and 700 hp with a tune... 35's are on order and a 2" lift...

Baller!!! They look sick!!! But I can’t stomach the repair bill even if someone gave me one. If I win the lotto I might lease one.....for the wife.

Let me know if yours fits right in the crossmember. Mine is off by 3/8”

Mine is off about the same but my front end isn’t exactly straight. nothing ever fits right on it. I tried to get a picture but it was tough with the grille on.

After discussing fan clutches the other day and my truck running a tad hotter than normal in this current heat wave I looked back through my records and had put 20K fluid in my blue clutch last year. Ordered some 30K to swap out before a couple longer trips I have planned in a few weeks. Hopefully that'll get me back down sub 190*. I've seen up to 205* this week.
Nothing wrong with 205 tho.

luckily it's under warranty and other than the electrical they are fairly bullet proof.... but they drink gas faster than anything...

What I didn't do was take my 80 up to 10.5k feet for camping and some great offroad trails because I continue to fight the high temp fight. Hope to get that resolved so we can take it next weekend. My lady's '17 Jeep Renegade did surprisingly well on the trails to the campsite so that was a plus. Back to work on the 80 in the morning.
